Overview
Digitunity is a national non-profit organization with a mission to make owning a computer possible for everyone. We are a nimble, fully remote team working at the systems level to achieve our mission and create the widest positive impact possible.
Position Summary
Digitunity is seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our fully remote, national team in contractor roles to support our important work of advancing digital equity. We are looking for team members who are enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic, high-impact movement to make computer ownership possible for everyone. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators, proactive problem-solvers, strategic thinkers, and collaborative team contributors.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at advancing digital equity and expanding computer ownership at scale
- Develop strategies to connect decision makers with underserved and unserved communities, to elevate their experiences and concerns
- Provide technical and strategic advising to various stakeholders
- Foster community engagement and cultivate meaningful partnerships
- Manage or contribute to projects efficiently and effectively to ensure successful outcomes
Candidates with specialized expertise and experience in two or more of the following areas are highly encouraged to apply:
- Digital equity
- Working with communities that are impacted by digital inequity
- Systems/structural change
- Technical and strategic advising, consulting, or coaching
- Community engagement
- Partnership cultivation and stewardship
- Policy analysis and advocacy
- Project management
Contractor Roles
These are generally project-based roles with durations ranging from six months to long-term, based on Digitunity’s needs. Availability during regular working hours is required. Contractor candidates should outline their areas of expertise, availability (including length of contract preferred and hours available), and rate.
