Pete Peterson Named Digitunity President

MARCH 17, 2022, NORTH CONWAY, NH – At its recent Annual Meeting, the Digitunity Board of Directors named Pete Peterson of Tampa, Florida as its new President. Peterson enters this two-year term as an experienced non-profit board member, start-up business advisor, and internationally savvy executive leader.

His experience in business, information technology channels, and supply chain services make him an asset to Digitunity’s Board of Directors and the organization’s unique mission to eliminate the technology gap. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Tuskegee University in Accounting and a MBA from Florida State University. Peterson possesses a unique blend of expertise, including process optimization, team mobilization, program deployment, and business optimization. Currently, he is the Chief Commercial Officer for Integrated Supply Network.

On being elected President of the Board, Peterson said, “As Digitunity enters the next phase of its growth, I’m honored to serve on its Board of Directors as President. Through the great partnerships Digitunity has in place, we’re fortunate to be at the forefront of serving underprivileged communities across the United States.”

Along with the election of a new President, the Digitunity Board named three additional officers. Aaron Woods of Wilsonville, Oregon begins as Vice President. Jeremy Hegle of Kansas City, Missouri will serve as Secretary, and David Bernstein of North Bergen, New Jersey, continues his tenure as Treasurer.

Jeremy Hegle, Secretary

Jeremy Hegle is a senior community development advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He leads the Bank’s digital equity efforts across the Tenth District and has authored several publications related to the digital divide.

 

David Bernstein is the Managing Director and Founder of AnythingIT, LLC, a regulatory compliant  e-waste and secure data destruction company, for the past 30 years.  His experience includes the creation of best practices for technology end-of-life services and trade-in programs for both government and private sector IT organizations.
