Yes, My Organization Needs Technology

Once a member you will have access to a variety of donation acquisition and tracking tools at no cost.

Is your organization working to bridge the digital divide?

Digitunity does not provide computers to individuals. We provide computers to organizations. To find an organization near you who may be able to help you, please use our member directory.

How it
Works

For over 36 years, we have worked successfully with donors to place a wide range of equipment, including computers, printers, servers, switches, and a whole host of miscellaneous items.

Digitunity is leading a movement to end the digital divide.

Donation Facilitation

Since our launch, we’ve matched more than US $43M* of technology products to pre-qualified and vetted local member organizations, providing more than 350,000 computers to individuals across the U.S.

*Avg. used computer value estimated at $125

The Digital
Opportunity Network

Our network includes corporations, social agencies, nonprofit organizations, state and federal government, school districts, faith-based organizations, refurbishers and recyclers - as well as like-minded individuals - working together to provide local impact in communities nationwide.

Changing the Future

The lack of digital connectivity and the computing devices to access it, known as the digital divide, has been with us for decades and continues to be a barrier to success for millions in our country today. It’s time to change that story.

Digitunity Network organizations must be engaged in education, rehabilitation, or training of individuals, such as:

  • People with physical or intellectual disabilities
  • At-risk students
  • Economically disadvantaged
  • Marginalized or vulnerable groups
  • Veterans
  • Older adults
  • People formerly incarcerated
  • People experiencing homelessness

Once accepted, Digital Opportunity Network member organizations become eligible to receive equipment donated by individuals and businesses through Digitunity. Eligible organizations must be based in the United States and may include nonprofit organizations, government agencies, or schools (public or private).

“The computer lab and the TVs we have received have made it possible to enter a deaf individual’s visual world and guide them forward to achieve their own goals for themselves. To build the confidence in people who are deaf to be successful, they must have an opportunity to be part of their own career development. People want to be empowered and to participate in their own life.”
-Adele Agin, Executive Director,
Lexington School for the Deaf, East Elmhurst, NY

Digitunity is building a movement to recognize digital equity as a key human rights issue and expand opportunity for all. We’re working to make sure more people have access to the internet, computers and the skills to use them.

An easy and cost-effective way for your company to make its used computers and other technology equipment available to the nonprofits that need it.

For corporate bulk or more complex technology donations that may require data wiping or chain of custody tracking, Digitunity’s donation coordination service is here to help.

Three Key Issues

Digital equity is foundational to all of the things people care about. True digital inclusion requires not only having access to a computer and the internet - but the skills to effectively use them. Access to technology provides opportunity and benefits for everyone.

Do your part to end the digital divide.

Your generous contribution helps us connect mission-driven organizations with critical technology, research and resources in order to end digital inequity. When you support Digitunity, the value and impact you provide is exponentially greater than the dollar amount you give.
