We exist to provide mentoring and leadership development opportunities for teen girls and young adult women, teaching them to leverage their identities, gifts, and talents to enter and thrive in academic, ministry, and professional environments.
Project Abstract
In the summer of 2025, Treasured will partner with Career Source Broward to provide employment opportunities for teen girls, through an 8-week career program. By working with youth participants, Treasured: Teaching Girls Inc. builds a strong foundation for professional growth and innovation. We gain firsthand understanding of the evolving challenges and opportunities faced by teen girls and young women. This knowledge allows us to refine our strategies and expand our influence in academic, ministry, and professional spaces. Furthermore, the transformative impact we have on the lives of participants enhances our credibility and draws partnerships, resources, and recognition, reinforcing our position as a trusted and impactful organization.
Target Population
Our target demographic is teen girls, ages 16-18, who desire to obtain real-world career experience. We anticipate hiring 10-20 girls in summer ’25.
