Mission Statement
IBSA is a nonprofit organization that provides employment and training services, youth development and community service activities, and small business training, development & support services. We are committed to the development and provision of programs that serve as alternatives to traditional institutionalization and work to further individuals’ full participation as productive citizens to society.
Project Abstract
Our agency project will accept used, new & refurbished computers, notebooks and tablets to redistribute to worthy family households & individuals. A continuum of workshops, programs & services will be hosted to teach residents & children troubleshooting, repair and other tech skills.
Target Population
Benefactors to our project consist of both adults and young adults. Adults are individuals participating in mandated workforce training programs, receiving TANF (cash assistance), reside in HUD assisted public housing or eligible for SNAP (food assistance) or WIOA training & services. Youth consist of those who are dependents of TANF parents, youth aging out of foster-care, or considered ‘Opportunity Youth’ under the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA)
