Individuals: Donate Your Used Technology

Donate a Computer or Device

Digitunity helps donors of technology easily find qualified recipient organizations. Individual donations are coordinated directly between donors and the organizations they choose.

Our broader work supports large-scale computer reuse efforts nationwide, but we make it easy for individual donors to make an impact.

There are a few simple ways to donate computers, phones, accessories, peripherals, cords/cables, and other items of technology. Digitunity helps point you to the right next step.

Choose the option that best fits your situation.

Option 1: Donate to a Nearby Nonprofit

Best for:
Individuals with gently used computers or devices who want to donate directly to a local organization.

How it works

  • Enter your ZIP code to see nonprofit organizations near you that accept donated equipment
  • Review the list to find an organization that aligns with your interests
  • Contact the organization directly to coordinate your donation

What to expect

  • Each nonprofit sets its own acceptance criteria
  • Pickup, drop-off, and timelines are coordinated directly with the organization
  • Availability and device needs may vary by location

Find nonprofits near you that are seeking donated equipment.

Results are based on location and information provided by each organization.

Option 2: Ship Your Device (National Option)

Best for:
Donors who don’t have a local option or prefer to ship their device at no charge.
